A Royal Brunei Air Force personnel has chosen Islam as his new faith. The conversion ceremony took place at Kampung Bukit Beruang National Housing Scheme, Tutong District, 9th January afternoon.

Sergeant (Udara) Patra bin Kunchil is now known as Sergeant (Udara) Muhammad Patra bin Kunchil. Among those present was Brigadier General (Udara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also in attendance was Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council.
